Dining at Emirates Palace is a Truly Royal Experience

April 2005, Abu Dhabi

March 2005, Abu Dhabi- Emirates Palace has officially opened eight of its dining and entertainment venues. The eight re staurants and cafés currently open to the delight of guests and members of the public are Café, Le Vendome, Al Majlis, Havana Club, Palace Ceremony, Diamond Retreat, Sayad and Mezzaluna.

Emirates Palace boasts an eclectic blend of dining options, with a multitude of restaurants, lounges and cafes spread throughout the majestic building. In their quest to cater for every taste and desire, management have scheduled several additional outlets to open in the latter part of 2005 and early 2006.

Sayad, the Palace's flagship outlet, is a treasure trove of culinary delights, where the finest catches from oceans around the globe, are flown in on a daily basis, transformed by Sayad's master chef and served with lavish perfection on a silver platter. Sayad, offers no menu. Dishes are created based on the client's selection of ingredients and their imagination. The client merely instructs the chef about their choice of ingredients and the manner, in which it is to be prepared, then sits back and savours the ambience. With 3 stylish private dining rooms and preparation to suit each individual's palate - the choices and possibilities are limited only by the guest's imagination and taste.

At Mezzaluna, which means "Half Moon", there are no half measures. Mezzaluna is the epitome of passionate Italian cooking, where dishes from the Amalfi Coast to the welcoming islands of Sicily and Sardinia are served with the warmth and richness of a bygone era. Mezzaluna offers dishes such as home made pasta, pan seared veal medallions with eggplant caviar, on a bed of cous cous with white truffle sauce.

Le Vendome is a fusion of flavours and cultures from around the world that pulse to the subtle beats of the orient. At Le Vendome buffet cultures and a la carte menus merge in a delectable symphony of choices, ensuring that your every desire is surpassed. It offers both indoor and outdoor dining facilities, reminiscent of the world's most ornate terraces.

If you are in the mood to be whisked away to Vienna's sidewalk cafes, and indulge in a rich cup of coffee and delectable pastries, Café is your destination of choice. At Café you can savour the world's finest teas, coffees and confectionaries whilst browsing through a selection of daily newspapers.  Meet, greet and mingle takes on a new face at Al Majlis. A 175 metre long living room set in the most opulent and luxurious of settings, and serving the finest cocktails in the UAE, it is the perfect setting for a meeting or a stop over before setting off to one of the Palace's restaurants for the experience of your choice.

The Havana Club exudes genteel refinement with its natural and calming colours and textiles. An abundance of wood and leather serve as the canvas from which the world's finest aged spirits and cigars and Cuban Gourmet dishes are served. Whether you are savouring a rare cigar or delighting in a precious taste of a scarce beverage, Havana Club offers rare discernment in the most luxurious of settings.

The Palace Ceremony brings the grandeur of the feast to your room or suite. Complete with your own chef and waiting staff, your room is transformed into your own private dining room. Just say the word and culinary masterpieces from all over the world will be delivered to your room with the same fanfare of the dining outlets.

At Emirates Palace, whether you are dining at one of the fine restaurants, or relaxing in one of their lounges and cafés, rest assured that you will be served as the ruler of your very own palace.
